When to apply?

Generally, we recommend applying eight to ten months in advance for admission for the following fall term (northern hemisphere). For example, if you wished to enter Saint Mary's College in the Fall of 2004 (late August entry) we recommend that you apply between October 2003 and January 2004. Though we accept applications on a rolling basis, we begin notifying students of decisions in mid-January.

If you know Saint Mary's College is your first choice, and would attend if you are admitted, you may wish to consider applying as an Early Decision candidate.

For those wishing to resolve their college plans as early as possible, Saint Mary's College offers an Early Decision option. This admission program is offered to students for whom Saint Mary's is their first choice, and while other applications may be filed for regular decision, only one may be filed for Early Decision.

If admitted and if you decide to enroll under the Early Decision Program, you will be obligated to withdraw applications submitted to other institutions.
