St. Patrick's Day Fun!
Please join the SMC Carolinas club for a St. Patrick's Day Social at RiRa's Irish Pub in Uptown Charlotte on March 15th. Social hour starts at 2 p.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Light appetizers will be provided. Don't forget to wear green!

In August, the club gathered at Christina Vellucci's home in south Charlotte to stuff care packages for SMC students from the Carolinas. Members brought lots of items to stuff, including: pens, towels, plastic place settings, SMC items, and more! Eight packages were sent to area students.

On October 16th, the Carolinas Alumnae Club gathered together for the 13th Annual Room at the Inn fundraising banquet at the Charlotte Convention Center. The club hosted a table at the event, and enjoyed dinner and listening to keynote speaker Judge Andrew Napolitano, a Notre Dame graduate and pro-life advocate.

We will be collecting 2008 dues starting in January. Dues are $20, and will keep you on the active Alumnae email and mailing list for 2008 and will go towards future events. Feel free to bring your dues to the Founder's Day dinner on November 15th or mail them before February 1st to:
