the seventh consecutive semester, Belles
swimming & diving has been named a CSCAA
Academic All-American team. The squad's team
GPA of 3.45 is eleventh in the country among
women's Division-III programs and the highest

named to All-MIAA team (Feb.
18) |
Junior
Sarah Nowak, who swam to three individual
team records at the MIAA Swimming & Diving
Championships Feb. 10-12, was named All-MIAA
by the conference on Friday...MIAA

Belles
slip a spot despite season bests (Feb.
13) |
Saint
Mary's hung on to their slim lead over Alma
College after the second day of the MIAA
championships but slipped 5 points behind
the Scots at the end of the third and final
day, 146-141, to finish the championship
meet in seventh place. Calvin College won
the three day swimming & diving championship.
The Belles continued to swim well as they achieveed season
best times on both the middle and last days, led by junior
Sarah Nowak's new records in the 100 breaststroke (Friday,
1:08.66) and 200 breaststroke (Saturday, 2:28.53). Nowak finished
second in both events. Over the final two days, all three relays
had season best results, highlighted by fifth place finihes
in the 800 and 400 freestyle relays...full
