It was her passion for God that directed her whole life. She considered it a blessing to be able to share her love of God with the little children she taught in elementary schools in the Midwest.

Sister Eymardine served as sacristan in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto for almost 20 years. Though she was small of stature she did a yeoman’s work, never stinting in the effort she put forth. Even poor health did not keep her from the daily tasks she set for herself. She was reluctant to give up, although at 98 most people would be more than willing to hand over this responsibility to someone else.

Six of her 14 brothers and sisters welcomed her when she died. In fact, Lucille, the third eldest also went home to God today. They entered heaven together. May they rest in peace.
