- Reform Calculus
- I have used the Hughes-Hallett book for several years with selected
groups of students, all with strong high school preparation.
- Using Java in CS 1
- Saint Mary's first course in programming is in Java. The course was previously taught in C++.
- Data Structures
- This course is taught using C++ and builds on the experience with
object oriented design begun in the first course.
- Ethical Issues Involving the Internet
- This was the subject of a semester long sabbatical during the spring
of 1997. I make presentations on the subject to both technical and non-technical audiences.
