Community Connections
Community Connections weaves connections between diverse women leaders in the Michiana area and Saint Mary's College.
Through innovative programs on campus, we explore issues of social change providing students with unique opportunities to experience the dynamics of intercultural leadership.
Programming developed in collaboration with women from the community has encouraged hundreds of women from different regional locations and cultural backgrounds to come to Saint Mary’s campus. Many of our guests have experienced the rich 160-year history of Saint Mary’s commitment to women’s leadership for the first time.
The work of Community Connections is to intertwine threads in the local community with those on campus, developing new patterns and opportunities for creative collaboration.
