Welcome to Dalloway’s Coffeehouse
Have A Fantastic Spring Break!
Next Week: Flower Pens!
Mission Our goal is to provide a place on campus where students can get away to relax, eat, listen to live entertainment, or study. We wish to increase and encourage student, faculty, and staff communication and congeniality. History The student run Clarissa Dalloway's Coffee House program has been in existence since November 1991. The concept of the program was conceived by a student (Peggy Abood '92) who attended the Genesis Conference at Saint Mary's during the previous spring semester. The purpose of the coffee house was to provide a consistent social space for students as well as to serve as an informal forum for the students, faculty and staff to gather to enjoy intellectual and cultural interests outside of the classroom setting. Board Dalloway's Board is made up of five students: two managers and three associate managers (one communication, two publicity). The board is responsible for making Dalloway's Coffeehouse a fun place that students love to visit. Board members do this in two ways: by planning and providing amazing events (karaoke, games, live music, etc.) and by maintaining a comfortable coffee house atmosphere (fire place, comfy couches, etc.). We like to say know better than anyone that Dalloway's is worth the walk! Although students must apply and be interviewed to obtain Board Member status, there are many Committee Members who are also involved in planning, advertising, and running of events. The Board and Committee meet weekly to plan events.
