The Quarters Campaign is the tradition of giving a little something back to Saint Mary's. It is a chance for show appreciation for your education and the opportunities you have at Saint Mary's.

The Quarters Campaign is a part of the Saint Mary's Annual Fund, which raises money to meet the greatest needs at the College: scholarships and financial aid, and so many other things that make Saint Mary's the outstanding school that it is. You have already benefited from the Annual Fund and you probably did not even know it!

In order to have the biggest impact possible, each class begins fundraising as soon as they arrive on campus. Your class is asked to give a few quarters each year you are on campus. Of course, nickels and dimes are welcome too!

First years – donate a mere 25¢
Sophomores – donate only 50¢
Juniors – donate just 75¢

As a class, you will use the money to leave a legacy at Saint Mary's when you graduate – leaving a little bit of yourself behind when you graduate. Previous classes have dedicated trees, given scholarships and had classrooms named in honor of their class. Regardless of which gift your class gives, it will be your mark on campus. Your class gift depends on your participation!

How do I benefit?

You may not realize it, but Saint Mary's alumnae have also impacted your life. Thousands of alumnae and friends donated $2.29 million to the Annual Fund last year. The top priority is scholarships and financial aid which supports 9 out of every 10 students at Saint Mary's College.

Your gift will help Saint Mary's to improve its national ranking in publications like U.S. News & World Report, increase the value of your degree and make a big difference at Saint Mary's!

• Join the committee and be a part of the legacy! As a member of the Committee,
  you will be asked to attend committee meetings and encourage classmates to
  participate in and join your classes Quarters Campaign. Your time commitment
  would be August through April with the campaign kickoff in October. Committee
  members are critical in developing a plan to maximize class participation and educate
  classmates and the rest of the school about the importance of giving back to Saint
  Mary's. Not only will you make a difference on campus, you can build your
  resume, develop your leadership skills, plan campus events and work with other
  student leaders on campus!
