 Memorial and tribute gifts offer you a wonderful way to
remember family and friends who hold a special place in your life. Saint
Mary's offers several tribute opportunities. Any gift can be made in honor
of or in memory of a loved one. Tribute gifts also provide a meaningful
way to celebrate special occasions and anniversaries.
MEMORIAL
TREE PROGRAM
The Memorial Tree Program was founded by the alumnae to beautify the "barren
grounds" surrounding Le Mans. Planting a memorial tree continues today
as a loving remembrance and living memorial for the deceased members of
the Saint Mary's family. A plaque is displayed on each tree with a memorial
inscription as well as the name of the species. Trees can be planted in
a number of campus settings. Site and species selection are conducted
in consultation with the donor, the family, and the College. Cost is $500.
TEAKWOOD
BENCH
Both useful and graceful, teak benches are built to endure and provide
perpetual tributes for members of the Saint Mary's family. A plaque for
a personalized inscription is included for display on each bench. Like
the memorial trees, the teak benches are suitable for placement in a variety
of campus settings. Site selection is conducted in consultation with the
donor, the family, and the College. Cost is $2500.
 O'LAUGHLIN
AUDITORIUM SEAT CAMPAIGN
A unique and lasting gift for an advocate of the arts is a newly refurbished
seat in O'Laughlin Auditorium. An auditorium seat can be dedicated for
$300.
CUSHWA-LEIGHTON
LIBRARY ACQUISITION
For a $250 gift, the Saint Mary's College Library will place a dedicated
bookplate in a current acquisition recognizing your honoree. You may designate
a specific subject area for the dedicated book.
ALUMNAE
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Established in 1994 by past and current members of the Alumnae Association
Board of Directors, this endowed fund provides scholarship assistance
to current students. Preference is given to relatives of alumnae. Gifts
to this fund are recognized once per year in the Courier.
