LOCATION
Lectures and other learning activities will take place throughout the program, but formal classes will be held at St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, located in Mumbai. Mumbai is India’s busiest metropolis. It is the financial capital of the country and houses the famous Bollywood film industry of India. St. Xavier’s College, Bombay is one of India's oldest and the city's most famous college. Set up by Jesuit priests in 1869, the college has a fine tradition and long history. It offers arts and science degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The college is known for its well-rounded curriculum, its strong extra-curricular activities and beautiful indo-gothic architecture.

A dedicated and experienced faculty drawn primarily from St. Xavier’s College, Bombay and other affiliated colleges and academic institutions in and around Mumbai teaches the courses offered. The program is rigorous and includes lectures, independent readings and library research, directed tours to museums, galleries, villages and commercial, industrial and governmental institutions, as well as home stays with Indian families.
