Research Interests:

Role changes of adults involved in family elder care.

Religious and spiritual aspects of geriatric social work practice.

Gerontology content in baccalaureate social work programs.

Community-based long-term care.

Substantive Areas: Gerontological Social Work
Practice Experience: 11 years experience in geriatric and community health nursing. 10 years experience in family therapy practice--including 5 years as an AAMFT-approved supervisor. Taught and supervised social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and pastoral counselors at the Family Institute of Philadelphia and the Center for Contextual Therapy.
