Even More Links!

Lots of good links to interesting sites! The first group is composed to big general theatre sites. If you can't find what you want on my pages, try one of these sites (after you e-mail me, of course...). They cover the non-musical theatre, techie and professional links that I don't. The other group of links below either fall into categories not currently otherwise covered (not enough links for a whole page of their own!), or a bit outside the scope of the rest of the site. I have also included a few of my favorite collections of musicals links.

Sites with general theatre information
Australian Theatre Guide
A mega-site concentrating on Australian theatre links, both musical and not. There is a lot of non-Australian content here, as well.
Intuitions College Theatre Guide
This site provides a clear and concise view of college theatre on the WWW. While it just provides lists of links (no commentary), the site's thoroughness is most impressive. Includes many non-US links.
OnBroadway
General theatre stuff, links to other theatrical homepages, lyrics, regional companies. Very well done.
Rec.arts.theatre FAQ
The list of frequently-asked-questions for the newsgroup rec.arts.theatre.musicals.
Scott's Theatre Links
Another very large site with lots of links to theatres, shows and technical pages.
Theatre Central
An excellent and very thorough site, including student and amateur as well as professional theatre information.
London Theatre Guide
Amazingly thorough and well organized; very impressive. The guide to buying tickets to West End shows is a must-read for anyone travelling to London to see a show. Anyone interested in Cast Albums should also check out Warren Seamans' list of what's come out on CD (it's under "Cast Recordings")!

SEE ALSO-- Albemarle of London's West End Theatre Page
(This is the place if you want to see "What's On" at a glance, as well as what's about to open and close. It's a great source for seating plans, upcoming shows, shops, and lots more. Included are photographs of all the theatres, etc. he lists!)

AND-- UK Theatre Web

Cool Musical Theatre Pages:
Better Living Through Show Tunes
This certainly gets my prize for "best title for a website" (would that I had been that clever!). It is also chock-full of good information, quotes and links. One of THE best websites, PERIOD!
DBAR's list of shows around the world
An excellent collection of links put together by musicals fan Diederik B.A. Rep. This is the best place to go on the WWW for Dutch musical theatre information. D.B.A.R. does more than just list links; he gives intelligent commentary on the shows, and lets the reader know about each one's current situation in Holland's musical theatre community. Updated and enhanced often.
Musical Cast Album Database
Wow!
Undiscovered Musicals
Scott Freiheit's page for shows at various stages in their trek to Broadway. A pretty wide variety of shows are covered, and who can resist a preview of "the hits of tomorrow?"

Cool Related and Reciprocal Links:
ASCAP Home page
Mostly aimed at professionals, but has some excellent information for others, as well. Their "Guide to Resources in the Music Business" contains a nice bibliography.
BMI Home page
The most interesting feature of this site is its song database, searchable by writer, title or publisher. Also, their pages of links to a very large number of international performing rights agencies and copyright organizations.
Baltimore-Washington Theatre Page
I don't usually include regional links, but this one is extremely well put-together. Lots of excellent reviews of a significant number of musicals. Gist is a regular reviewer for Aisle Say and other publications.
Goodspeed Opera House
The host of a number of musicals every season, several of which have transferred to Broadway. This theater's website is also the home of pages for their Library of Musical Theatre and Show Music Magazine. There's even a gift shop! Extremely nice site.
Music Theatre International
A major licenser of musicals for performance all over the world, MTI needs no introduction to people involved in theatre. This site promises to be a great resource for people in the audience, as well as those putting on the shows. Just take a look at any of the functional links in the "Show Catalog" section to get an idea of what is planned for the rest of the musicals in the list, and you'll be excited too!
National Alliance for Musical Theatre
An organization dedicated to advancing musical theatre.
