Seminar Room
The
Music Seminar Room, 322 Moreau Center for the Arts,
houses the Music
Department's collection of musical scores, eleven
current subscriptions and back issues of thirty eight
music periodicals, a small book collection, sound recordings
and videos as well as recordings of
departmental performances
from 1973
to
the present which are listed
in the online
catalog.
The
Music Seminar Room is equipped with a complete
audio-visual system and study tables suitable
for small classes or groups. There are
four small listening rooms (two individual and
two for 2-4 students) that are equipped with audio
systems; three portable cassette recorders
and two metronomes may be checked out for use
in practice rooms.

Music
Seminar Room Course Reserve: materials from
the music collection, the Cushwa-Leighton Library,
and personal copies may be placed
on "course reserve." Materials on loan from other
libraries may not be
placed on course reserve. Information on how to place materials

Other library
collections: music seminar
room staff is available to help patrons locate scores or recordings in other
libraries when they are not available here.
Other university collections, such as the extensive music collection
at Indiana University Bloomington are available through interlibrary
loan.
