Bob Berky to Perform at Saint Mary’s College

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — “Let’s loosen up and have some fun,” says master of physical comedy Bob Berky. He combines theatrical clowning and mime with audience participation in his fun-filled shows for the whole family. Berky performs at Saint Mary’s College on Friday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre, Moreau Center for the Arts.

Bob Berky has delivered award-winning performances as a solo artist throughout the world since 1990. Berky also has taught at many universities and theatres as a guest artist, including the Julliard School, Brandeis University, University of Texas at Austin, the North Carolina School for the Arts, and Smith College. He is presently the artistic director for the Off Square Theatre in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, $9 for Saint Mary’s and Notre Dame faculty and staff, $8 for students, and $7 for children. Tickets are available through the Saint Mary’s College Box Office by visiting Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., or by calling 574-284-4626.

The Moreau Center for the Arts celebrates its 50th anniversary during the 2006-2007 season.
