Conference at Saint Mary’s Highlights Benefits of Diversity

NOTRE DAME, Ind.—Saint Mary’s College students will host a leadership conference next week to increase awareness of the benefits of diversity on campus, in the community and in the workplace. The Diverse Students Leadership Conference runs Thursday and Friday, March 2–3, and is open to the public at no cost.

Conference participants will have the opportunity to engage in workshops designed to address cultural clashes, power relations, the value of intercultural experiences, institutional obstacles that women leaders face today and religious diversity.

The conference is sponsored by the Saint Mary’s Student Diversity Board and co sponsored by the Saint Mary’s Center of Women’s Intercultural Leadership and Walgreens.
