For Immediate Release Saint Mary's Carmelite Spirituality Seminar Draws Worldwide ParticipantsNOTRE DAME, Ind.--In a few weeks, people from all over the world will meet at Saint Mary's College to take part in the 19 th annual Summer Seminar on Carmelite Spirituality. The seminar, entitled "Carmel: A School of Prayer," takes place Sunday, June 17 to Saturday, June 23. The public is invited to register and participate. Carmelite spirituality is a contemplative approach to life. The key inspirations for this spirituality are Saints Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Therese of Lisieux, Edith Stein and others. Seminar attendees will listen to lectures by internationally known experts on Carmelite spirituality, go to workshops and participate in daily Eucharist and common prayer. Tuition is $200 for the weeklong seminar, plus a $35 registration fee. Additional costs include $120 for a single room in Regina Hall on the Saint Mary's College campus, and $145 meal fee, which includes Sunday dinner through lunch the following Saturday.
