Saint Mary's College Senior Serves on Board of Trustees

NOTRE DAME, Ind.--The Saint Mary's College Board of Trustees welcomes Catherine "Cate" Cetta as one of two new members. Cetta, a Saint Mary's College senior and 2004 graduate of Downers Grove North High School, will serve a one-year term as the board's student trustee.

Over the past three years at Saint Mary's College, Cetta has participated in student government, political science club, campus ministry as a Eucharistic minister and lector, and on the University of Notre Dame figure skating team. She spent a year studying abroad in Rome during her sophomore year and held an internship at South Bend's NBC affiliate WNDU-TV during her junior year. She is spending her summer interning at Women for Women International in Washington, D.C.

Cetta is a political science and history double major, and hopes to pursue graduate studies in communications after commencement in May 2008.
