From the Midwest to the Far East, Institute at Saint Mary’s Attracts Teachers from Around the World

NOTRE DAME, Ind.— More than 100 high-school educators from across the nation and around the world—schools in Jordan and China are sending teachers—will attend this year’s Advanced Placement (AP) Institute at Saint Mary’s College. Saint Mary’s professors and other experienced AP instructors offer innovative strategies that teachers can implement in their own classrooms. The Institute runs Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28.

Indiana requires all high schools to offer AP math, science and English.
The goal of the Institute is to help AP teachers continue to challenge
their students and increase interest in the subject matter.
The academic disciplines covered during the Institute include biology,
calculus, foreign language, English language and art.
