To Apply for the Summer Mini Grant....

Please write out the following, have it signed by you and your department chair, and submit it to Carrie Call, OCSE, 220 Student Center.

I. General Information: please provide us with your name, department, contact information, years at Saint Mary's, and classes taught.

II. Please describe the course you are hoping to up-grade to include a service-learning compponent. How will service-learning fit in? Do you have an idea of what kind of service component you would add? How does this course fit into a major? Who are the students you hope will take this class? When will it be offered?

III. Please let us know the learning goals and objectives you have for this course. What do you think a service component would add to these? How will you integrate the service aspect into the course (e.g. assignments, etc.)? How will you assess the learning goals?
