Almost all applications have a Print Preview feature. This feature allows you to see exactly how your pages will look when they are printed. You can save paper right up until the final print by using this function because you can see exatctly how your document will look as printed - including any extra blank pages. Print Preview is easy to use - and in most applications - you can print directly from Print Preview.



    To use the Print Preview feature in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and many other popular applications:

    1. Click on the File menu (or Office Button in Office 2007) and select Print Preview.
    2. To print your document as it is, click on the Print button (it may appear as an icon of a printer). To return to the document to make additional changes or change your printing options (such as double-sided printing or change the number of pages printed per sheet), click cancel.

    To use the Print Preview feature in Safari, Firefox, BBEdit on a Mac:

    1. Click on the File menu and select Print.
    2. Click on the Preview button.
    3. To print your document as it is, click on the Print button. To return to the document to make additional changes or change your printing options (such as double-sided printing or change the number of pages printed per sheet), click cancel.
