CAMPUS:
The suburban campus includes 275 acres of gardens, fields, woods and walks along the Saint Joseph River.

Although our mailing address is Notre Dame, Indiana, Saint Mary's is located in the city of South Bend, Indiana, Within walking distance of the University of Notre Dame, we are approximately 90 miles from Chicago and 160 miles from Indianapolis. EDUCATIONAL ADVANTAGES:

THE STUDENTS:
Approximately 1500 women from 47 states and territories and 12 foreign countries. Multicultural and international students represent 9% of the student body.

PROGRAMS OF STUDY:
Saint Mary’s offers the B.A., B.B.A., B.S., B.F.A., B.M. and over 30 major areas of study. Click here for a full listing of majors. In addition, Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame have established a cooperative engineering degree program. Students may design their own major if they wish or earn a minor or minors in any of 23 academic areas. ATHLETICS:
Saint Mary’s College provides a complete athletic and recreational program. The College, an NCAA Division III school, and a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, sponsors varsity teams in tennis, volleyball, soccer, basketball, swimming and diving, golf, softball and cross-country. Saint Mary’s women also may participate in the intramural program and/or clubs in a variety of sports; many offerings are coeducational with the University of Notre Dame. FINANCIAL AID:

ADMISSION:
Competitive.
First year applicants should apply by March 1. Transfer applicants should apply by November 15 for spring semester or April 15 for fall semester. Early Decision applications must be submitted by November 15 for December notification. Learn more about

Saint Mary’s is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Indiana State Board of Education.

45 percent have careers in industry, business and government.
