Any student who becomes pregnant may remain enrolled and will receive the College’s full support. This includes appropriate, reasonable adjustments to educational programs and activities to support pregnant or parenting students.

If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, support is available to you on and off campus. Following is a list of organizations and resources where you can access medical, emotional, or spiritual help, information, and counseling:
ON-CAMPUS RESOURCES
Health and Counseling Center - Confidential
HCC provides pregnancy testing and counseling services to support students who are, or think they might be, pregnant. A variety of off-campus resources can also be provided to students for continued support. To make an appointment or for more information, contact (574) 284-4805.
Center for Faith, Action, and Ministry - Confidential
The Center for Faith, Action, and Ministry offers pastoral care and spiritual support for students who are or think they might be pregnant. Staff members can also provide nonjudgmental support for students who have experienced abortions and provide a list of resources to students for post-abortion healing if needed. Belles Against Violence Office - Confidential
BAVO provides advocacy and counseling services to support students who have experienced interpersonal violence. This may include students who become pregnant after being assaulted or are in an abusive relationship. To make an appointment or for more information, contact (574) 284-4081.
Title IX
Students who believe they may have experienced pregnancy discrimination can file a complaint with the Title IX Office by contacting (574) 284-5099, titleix@saintmarys.edu, visiting the office in 027 Student Center, or filiing a report at https://www.saintmarys.edu/title-ix
Housing
Pregnant students can be accommodated in all of our residence halls, as space allows, or are allowed a special exception to be released from their housing contract. Because at this time we do not have family housing, babies/children and partners are not allowed to live on campus. Mother Pauline Pantry
The on-campus food pantry, coordinated by the Office of Student Involvement, offers a variety of products for free to all students. Items include food, toiletries, school supplies, and diapers. Place an order here: https://belletower.
