***Sad note – Diana Papernak Cuneen, class of 72, and a past Colorado club president, recently died from breast cancer. Donations in her name can be sent to the Komen Foundation. Student Care Package party will be on April 25th in Colorado Springs, at the home of Kelly O’Brien, SMC ’90, 7122 Sand Crest View, in the Courtyards at Newport Townhouses Community. Join us at 11:00 and please bring 4 dozen cookies or brownies to share at the party, and put in the “care package” bags. RSVP to Kelly at kellyo90@comcast.net. Our 2009 Founders’ Day celebration will be held in Golden, hosted by Kim Lynch Frye, ’75. Colorado Alumnae Job Resource Line Hayley Coxon, is a 2008 Saint Mary’s graduate. She currently resides in South Bend, and was working for a marketing consulting firm before they downsized. She will be moving to Denver in a few months and is looking for a marketing job here. We are fortunate to have a board of directors’ member, Phyllis Van Hersett, in our club, so we got a current campus update.
Spring Luncheon - March 8, 2008 The renewed Colorado Alumnae Club met on March 8, 2008 at the Pan Asian Grill in Englewood. We enjoyed renewing and expanding SMC sisterhood and lunch as well as discussing potential events: Member, student, and prospective student get together, Student send off, Founders Day Mass and Brunch, Student “Care Package” party, and Book Club. Annual Club Brunch - Saturday, March 19, 2005 The annual SMC Colorado Club Brunch was a great success. The brunch
was held at Le Central Restaurant at 8th and Lincoln in Denver.
