Artists Conversing with Verse: An Exhibition of Contemporary Latino Art and Poetry

The Center for Women's Intercultural Leadership (CWIL) at Saint Mary's College and the Institute for Latino Studies at the University of Notre Dame, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), invited twelve visual artists to engage with the work of twelve poets. The resulting dialogue will travel from Saint Mary's to museums and galleries across the nation.

Spring Semester 2005

The Saint Mary's Department of Art is pleased to welcome two Visiting Artists

John Sherman, a graphic designer and professional specialist from the University of Notre Dame, is teaching Advanced New Media with an emphasis on web design and animation. Ceramic artist, Tom Meuninck, is producing his own work in the clay studio and teaching beginning and advanced ceramics. Tom Meuninck is well known in the region for his artwork and teaching and has recently retired from a 35 year career at Washington High School in the South Bend Community School Corporation.
