Class of 2001
Molly Banahan

Molly was very active in the college. She has served as the social chair of the Junior class board, chair of the Student Activities Board, the RHA representative and Hall Council treasurer for LeMans Hall and a VISA representative. She was also a University of Notre Dame Varsity Manager.
Amy Dooms

Departmental Service - Amy has served as a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry 121 and 122 and as a Stockroom Assistant. Amy served as the publicity and service chair for SMAACS.
Amy also served as the publicity chair for the Residence Hall association and as a member of the VISA admissions program.
Emily Koelsch

Departmental Service - Emily has been a Teaching Assistant for several classes (Chem 121 and 122). She is also the co-president of SMAACS for 1999-2000 academic year.
Research - Emily was a Lab Assistant during the summer of 1999 in the NIH Internship Program at Bethesda, MD.
Emily was also active on the Board of Governance as the Women's Issues Commissioner. She has also helped organize the Play of the Mind Program at the college.
Awards: Emily Graduated cum Laude. She was also inducted into Who's Who Among Students at American Colleges and Universities and Kappa Gamma Pi. She won the Women's Studies Prize.
Megan Kosel

Departmental Service - Megan has been a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry 121 and 122 laboratories, a general chemistry tutor, and Stockroom Assistant. She is also the secretary of SMAACS.
Megan was a participant in the VISA admissions program and programs of the Spes Unica Resource and Volunteer Center (SURV).
Awards: Megan won the Mother M. Rose Elizabeth Chemistry award. She graduated Summa cum Laude. She was also inducted into Who's Who Among Students at American Colleges and Universities and Kappa Gamma Pi and won the department's Mark Bambanek Service Award.
Molly McVoy

Departmental Service - Molly has been a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry 221 and 222 (Organic). She has also served as the special events chair for SMAACS.
Research - Molly participated in a research program at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Her research focused on the mechanism of feverfew.
Molly was also the assistant sports editor for the Saint Mary's College and University of Notre Dame student newspaper, The Observer.
Awards: Molly graduated Summa cum Laude. She was also inducted into Who's Who Among Students at American Colleges and Universities and Kappa Gamma Pi.
Anne Senger

Departmental Service -Anne has been a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry 121 and 122 (Principles of Chemistry). She also serves as the SMAACS fund raising chair.
Anne played varsity softball during the spring. She was also in the VISA admissions program, served on the LeMans and Holy Cross Hall Councils and as a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Council.
KrisAnne Wilson

Departmental Service - KrisAnne has been a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry 101 and 102 and for Chemistry 111. She has also been an active member in SMAACS.
KrisAnne was a member of the Residence Hall Association and was the treasurer of McCandless Hall. She was also the Co-Chair for the Little Sibs Weekend Organizing Committee, and served on the Welcome Committee for two years. She volunteered at the SMC Fun and Learn Program, as well.
Melissa Wheeler

Departmental Service - Melissa has been a Teaching Assistant for Chemistry 101, 124, 221 and 122. She is also an active member of SMAACS.
Research - Melissa participated in the summer research program at Loyola University during the summer of 1999. Her research project was entitled " FTMA Synthesis for Electroanalytical Study using Clay Modified Electrodes."
Melissa was a member of the Notre Dame Marching Band. She was also on the LeMans Hall council and served as its service chair.
Awards: Melissa won the American Institute of Chemists award. She graduated cum Laude.
