The Department of Chemistry and Physics at Saint Mary's College

Majors

There are several choices for majors in the chemistry department. The B.A. in chemistry is the core of the chemistry major. There is also a B.S. in chemistry, a B.S. in Chemistry with a Biochemical concentration, and the American Chemical Society (ACS) certified degrees in these. The major requirements for these degrees are listed below. The requirements for the Liberal Arts curriculum are not shown here.

Majors must also fufill the Advanced Writing Requirement and pass their Senior Comprehensive Requirement
