If you find a book in WorldCat that the library doesn't have, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan directly from WorldCat. It's fast and easy! Here's how it works:
When you locate a book that you want, look for the "Saint Mary's College" symbol:
If you see that symbol, the book is in our library and you can check it out.
If you don't see that symbol, our library doesn't have the book, and you'll need to request it from Interlibrary Loan. Here's an example:
Click on the title of the book to see more details about the book, including the request form:
Click on the link that says "Borrow this itme from another library" to place your request. You'll see a form that looks like this:
All you need to do is fill in your contact information. For "local telephone" you can use your cellphone number.
After you submit the form, you'll see a confirmation page that says your request has been sent. You're done!
Interlibrary Loan is a free service, and there's no limit to how many books or articles you can request. Delivery usually takes 7-10 days, but it can sometimes take longer, so keep that in mind and start your research early.
