Call for Research Abstracts

 

Center for Women's InterCultural Leadership (CWIL) fellows, scholars, and guest speakers and artists, past and present, are invited to submit abstracts of their work to the Center for Women's InterCultural Leadership Research Abstracts Series.

 

Please follow the instructions below on how to submit abstracts of your scholarly work:

 

  1. Abstract length should not exceed 300 words per abstract. Each abstract should be followed by 5 keywords that are meant to describe the abstract. Provide detailed contact information, especially email, should you want third parties who are interested in your work to contact you.

 

  1. Abstracts should be submitted electronically as Microsoft Word or Text documents attached via email to CWIL (cwil@saintmarys.edu). In the body of your email please briefly describe your past or present affiliation with CWIL.

 

  1. Select three words/phrases from the list below which can broadly categorize

your work. Note that the words below are intended as mechanisms to classify, organize, and set wide searching parameters in the CWIL Research Abstract database. If no word is at least slightly connected to your subject, please provide words/phrases when submitting your abstract that might help in categorizing your scholarly work.

  • Specify the stage of research you consider your work at, including but not
    limited to: IRB-approved, working paper, work-in-progress.

 

  1. Clearly state if abstract(s) submitted is (are) based on scholarly work that has already been published or has been accepted for publication in a journal, monograph, anthology, exposition or in any other format. If yes, provide formal citation information including the name, volume, issue, year and location of publisher.
