Saint Mary's Prepares Students to take Leadership Roles in Society Selective in its admission policies, more than 75% of entering first year students have a 3.6 or higher school grade point average. Saint Mary's Student Leadership Program prepares women for leadership in the professional world and the community. With opportunities to lead in over 60 student clubs and organizations, students serve on governing boards, chair task forces and implement volunteer service projects that prepare them to contribute to corporations and communities.
The U.S. News & World Report ratings affirm our commitment to our students - this year we are ranked first in our category of Midwest Regional Liberal Arts Colleges. Since the survey began sixteen years ago, Saint Mary's College has been ranked in the Top 10, ranking 1st for five consecutive years (1994-1998) and once again Number One this year.
