Online Form To Request a Blackboard Course

Shortly after the end of each semester older courses are made unavailable to students (they remain available to you). Even when course content is much the same as a previous course, a new course site needs to be created. However, instructors or the IT staff can copy content from one course to another, and if much the same content is being reused, there is a place on the form below to request content from a previous course.

When creating new courses, a separate Blackboard site is created for each Section. Instructors who want two or more sections of a course to share one Blackboard course site, can provide relevant CRN numbers below on this form.

Instructors who want the content copied from an older version of the course need to indicate this below, and identify the previous course using the Blackboard CourseID. (You can easily locate the Blackboard CourseID by clicking on the Courses tab after logging in to Blackboard.) You will receive email confirmation when the courses are set up.

Fields highlighted with red must be filled in.
