Introduction to Blackboard

This workshop will focus on the basic skills involved in adding content to a Blackboard course, managing the menu and course design, and student enrollment.

Grade Center, Wiki's, Blogs, and Scholar Tools:

Because the Grade Center is completely new, this workshop will focus on the new Grade Center, and if time permits, we will look at other advanced features including new Wiki and Blog tools, and Scholar.

Those who can't make a workshop might consider using two Blackboard courses created for Blackboard training purposes. Blackboard 8 Workshop has a number of tutorials that will be used in the face-to-face workshops. The "Blackboard Sandbox" is a site where instructors can experiment and practice things without consequences.
