Series Books Applewood Books This company is currently reprinting many of the classic series books, like Judy Bolton and Nancy Drew. This site features a Nancy Drew chat board! Web Central I like the stuff this guy has collected, and it's in a very neat, no-frills package. The Name Page Find out not only what your name means, but what intestinal problems it causes you, as well. Music Public Domain Information Project An non-profit organization, which offers an online list of music which is in the public domain. There are also a number of other PD resources on their page. Ragtimers Home Page An excellent page dedicated to ragtime (duh) music, with lots of information about the early ragtimers. Lester Levy Sheet Music Collection The beginnings of a searchable collection of music covers from this important collection. Not much is currently available, and all of that is 19th century. Space Age Bachelor Pad Music Anyone who looks through a lot of LPs sees this stuff (and probably marvels at its existence). Someone has put a lot of work into this hilarious site, with pictures of album covers, links to other sites, etc. Be warned that it is coded with a lot of Netscape-specific tags, and won't display as well with other browsers. Silent Film A really fine page devoted to all silent films, their stars and the companies that made them.
