your email you may receive an error regarding the certificates, please select
the option to always accept. Additionally, you will now be required to login
again when you send email (you will only have to do this once per session). |

Open your email in Thunderbird ·
On the toolbar, click Tools
Account Settings |
|
||||||||
|

In the Account Settings
window, click on Server Settings (under your email address). ·
In the Server Name: field,
highlight aegis.saintmarys.edu. |

|

Under Server Settings, if
your Server Type is IMAP Mail Server, type imaps.saintmarys.edu
in the Server Name field.
If your Server Type is POP
Mail Server, type pops.saintmarys.edu. |

Under your email address, click on Out
Going Server (SMTP). ·
Under Outgoing Server (SMTP)
Settings, highlight aegis.saintmarys.edu,
in the Server Name field. |

Click the box next to Use name and
password to place a check in the box. Type your username in the User Name field. ·
Under the Use secure connection,
click the TLS, if available. ·
Make sure that the Port
is set to 25. ·
Click OK. ·
If you receive an error window regarding the certificates not
matching, click OK. |

Open Netscape Mail. ·
From the toolbar, click Edit
Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings… |

In the Account Settings
window, click on Server Settings (under your email address). ·
In the Server Name: field,
highlight aegis.saintmarys.edu. |

Under Server Settings, if
your Server Type is IMAP Mail Server, type imaps.saintmarys.edu
in the Server Name field.
If your Server Type is POP
Mail Server, type pops.saintmarys.edu. |

Under Outgoing Server (SMTP)

Type zsmtp.saintmarys.edu,

Type zsmtp.saintmarys.edu,
in the Server Name field. ·
Under the Use secure
connection(SSL), click the Always, if available button. Make sure
that the Port is set to 25. ·
Click OK. ·
If you receive an error window regarding the certificates not
matching, click OK. |

Open Outlook. ·
From the toolbar, click Tools E-mail Accounts… |

In the Email Account window,
click on the View or change existing
e-mail accounts. ·
Click the Next > button. |

In the E-mail Accounts
window, click on your account name to highlight. ·
Click the Change button to
the right of the window. |

In the E-mail Accounts
window, under Server Information, highlight
aegis.saintmarys.edu in the Incoming mail server (IMAP) field and
type imaps.saintmarys.edu. If you are using a POP3 setting, in the Incoming mail server (POP3) field,
type pops.saintmarys.edu. ·
In the Outgoing mail server
(SMTP), highlight aegis.saintmarys.edu,
and type zsmtp.saintmarys.edu ·
Click the Next > button. ·
You will return to the E-mail
Accounts window, click the Finish button. ·
Click the More Settings button.

Click the Outgoing Server tab
in the Internet E-mail Settings
window . ·
Click the box to select My
outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. ·
Click the Use same settings as my
incoming mail server circle. ·
Click the Advanced tab. ·
Click the in both the boxes, under Incoming
and Outgoing
mail, next to This server requires
encrypted (SSL). ·
Click OK. ·
If you receive an error window regarding the certificates not
matching, click OK. |
