This concentration is provided for students preparing to teach mathematics
in secondary school. It provides the student with a sound mathematics
curriculum as well as fulfilling teacher certification requirements

major makes possible a sequence of courses giving the student experience
in model-building and is recognized by the Society of Actuaries as a
