IN DIJON, FRANCE
In
affiliation with Cultural Experiences Abroad, Saint Mary's
College offers students the opportunity to study at the
Université de Bourgogne in the beautiful and historic
heart of Burgundy. Courses range from beginning to advanced
French language and civilization; a variety of extracurricular
activities, excursions, and workshops further enhance
language learning and immerse students in French life.
While the primary housing option is a residence hall for
international students, Saint Mary's and CEA also put
students into contact with local French families for meals
and additional activities. Academic credit applies towards
the French major or minor at Saint Mary's. The Department
of Modern Languages recommends a spring semester or a
year's stay, in either the sophomore or junior year.
