I am no longer a Saint Mary's student (graduated/transferred) and I would like to forward my Saint Mary's e-mail to another account. How do I do that?
The Saint Mary's e-mail system is an official form of comunication for the College.
Students must use their Saint Mary's e-mail address for all e-mail correspondence with Saint Mary's faculty and staff.
If a student uses another account (AOL, Hotmail, etc.) to e-mail a faculty or staff member, the faculty or staff member will not respond. For this reason, we encourage students to have all their third-party e-mail forwarded to their Saint Mary's e-mail account, and to use the latter in all correspondence. (Access to third-party e-mail accounts is not blocked at Saint Mary's College, and students may continue to use those accounts for non-academic purposes if they wish.)
Saint Mary's e-mail accounts are typically deactivated six months after a student's departure from the College. A notice will be sent to your Saint Mary's e-mail account prior to its deactivation to give you the exact date that the account will no longer function.
Please note: These instructions may vary slightly based on the UI theme you have selected to customize Zimbra.
At this point, send your Saint Mary's e-mail account a test e-mail message and make sure that it goes through to the other account. (You can send it from your own e-mail account, or have a friend send you a message.)
After you have confirmed the forwarding is set up correctly and you no longer need to use your Saint Mary's e-mail account and Zimbra webmail:
