3.1 Define the integration of learning

Area: Recruit, retain and graduate a vital and diverse student body

Initiative 1: Promote a learning environment that fosters an integrated development of each student's intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical life.

Action:1.1 Examine and renew the ways in which Saint Mary's students experience their education.

Core members:

Representative from the Executive Committee of the Faculty Assembly Representative from the Division of Student Affairs.................... Representative from the Division of Mission .............................. Representative from the Office of First Year Studies ................. Representative from the Division of Academic Affairs ................................ The Director of the Office of Institutional Research is a nonvoting member

Guidelines:

The task force should contain a minimum of two student members. .......... There should be equal representation between Faculty and Student Affairs. Student development professionals, in the aggregate, should form the majority of the task force.
