Teaching Interests:
Financial Services
        I am a former bank trust officer and financial planner.  My course offerings within the finance concentration include Personal Financial Planning (BUAD 314) and Management of Financial Institutions (BUAD 315).

Strategic Planning
        I teach the capstone course for the major, Business Policy (BUAD 446), and also the capstone course for the finance concentration, Financial Strategy with Computer Applications (BUAD 415).

Business Communication Skills
        Students in my Principles of Finance class (BUAD 312) write a semester long journal on a company using the most recent annual report, the Wall Street Journal, and various other investment information sources such as Value Line and Dun and Bradstreet's Industry Norms and Key Business Ratios.  Students in Business Policy (BUAD 446) collaborate on teams to present talks using PowerPoint.  In my Business Communications class (BUAD 345) students make several oral presentations.

Case Teaching and Collaborative Learning
        I use cases and encourage student collaborative learning environments to prepare students for workplace teams.
