Strong Singles Play Lifts Saint Mary's Past Kalamazoo

NOTRE DAME, IN – Saint Mary’s overcame a slow start in double plays and took five of the six singles matches in posting a 6-3 MIAA win over Kalamazoo on Saturday afternoon. The match was moved inside to the Eck Tennis Center because of rain.

Saint Mary’s won four of their five singles match in straight sets.

The win lifts the Belles record to 9-9 overall and 4-3 in MIAA play while Kalamazoo falls to 10-8 and 4-3 respectively.
