Team Updates
Soccer: Wednesday Sept. 3rd lost 2-1 to Manchester
           Tournament in Chicago in 2 weeks

Volleyball: Beat Bethel on Thursday Sept. 4th 
               Lost on Tuesday Sept. 2nd to Adrian
               Play Thursday Sept. 9th at Hope

Cross Country: Aug. 10th had Alumni race on MIAA Jamboree course
                      Meet on Saturday Sept. 5th at Wabash

Golf: First MIAA match on Sept. 4th and came in third

Sister Teams
Cross Country and Basketball
Golf and Volleyball
Soccer and Tennis
Swimming and Softball

Community Service Hours
One off-campus and one on-campus event per team.
Folders handed out with service information.
Teams required to log hours of service projects and to record the number of people participating and then email Kaela (Sect./Treasurer) with the information.
For on-campus projects, try and reach out to non-athlete groups on-campus.

Volleyball game - Sept. 11 @ 6:00
SAAC cookout following the game
Cookout for all athletes and is free in Angela.
RSVP to coaches and make sure to help email teams.

Domer Run- Sept. 20th
Free breakfast and t-shirt all for only $10.00
Community service event if all attend Domer Run for breast cancer research.
Try and involve teams, but the whole team must participate to count as on-campus community service project.
Contact Dr. Barstis if you are interested in helping, running, or if you want more information.

Assign Chairs and Committee members:
Halloween- Oct. 12th Party with the Logan Center kids
Contact Lynn SOON to get planning started.

Holiday- Dec. 7th Provided for staff and faculty kids

Valentines- Feb. 8th Provided for the oncology unit at Memorial hospital

Post online the minutes from meetings, put together a review of team service events, pictures from the events, and post on bulletin board in Angela.

Spring Decs?
For all Parties:
Teams should be at the event from 12-3.
Each party is a mandatory event and teams cannot be split into two shifts.
Money for decorations can be provided if/when we get club status, make sure and keep receipt and get tax exempt form Melissa will email the list from the party sign-up.

MIAA Sportsmanship readings
Before each game- see fall semester sports handout.
Arrive 10 minutes before each game.

Copy coaches, Melissa, Bridget, Lynn, and Erin. (and Kaela)

Everyone should wear the SAAC polo on the Fridays of meetings. Five people need polos.
