MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - In the second day of competition at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, Audrey Dalrymple made the most of her appearance in the 400 yard individual medley.

Heading into the event seeded 26th with a time of 4:53.44, the freshman used her ability in the breaststroke portion of the medley to take a lead in her heat.  Down the stretch, Dalrymple was able to keep pace and held on to win her heat in a school record time of 4:41.25.  The time was good enough for her to finish 22nd overall in the event.

Dalrymple will compete again tomorrow morning in the 100 yard breaststroke and Saturday morning in the 200 yard breaststroke.
