Belles Fall to #14 Greyhounds
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Saint Mary's College swimming and diving team suffered a 145-92 dual meet loss to NCAA Division II #14 University of Indianapolis on Friday evening.
Leah Bocinsky had a strong day for the Belles in the diving events. The senior took first place finishes in both the 1 meter and 3 meter diving events with scores of 174.60 and 171.80.
The 200 yard medley relay took second in the night's first event. The foursome of Maggie Williams, Audrey Dalrymple, Eva Cavadini, and Katie Donovan finished in a time of 1:56.18, which was just two tenths of a second off of the Belles' best time of the season. Cavadini also added a strong showing in the 500 yard freestyle with the second fastest time of the night of 5:28.49.
The Belles will waste little time before their next competition as they host conference foe Albion tomorrow, January 17 at 1:00 p.m. at Rolfs Aquatic Center.
