Belles Tie for First at Manchester Invitational
WABASH, Ind. -- Emily Gore shot an 82 for fifth place to lead the Belles to a first place tie with Hope College at the Manchester College Fall Invitational with a 341 on Saturday.
Gore was solid in her return from an injury that had kept her out of much of the fall season. Natalie Matuszak finished one stroke behind Gore with an 83 to tie for sixth.
Rosie O'Connor shot an 87 to finish in 12th in the one day tournament. Perri Hamma tied for 16th with a round of 89 while Christine Brown rounded out the team-scoring golfers for the Belles with a 92 (t-24).
The Belles will wrap up the fall portion of their season next weekend at the MIAA Championships in Battle Creek, Michigan.
