Belles Fall in Overtime to Hornets

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Saint Mary's College soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 overtime decision to Kalamazoo College on Saturday.

After a scoreless regulation, the Hornets and the Belles went to overtime.  In the seventh minute of the first overtime period, Kalamazoo netted the game-winner to take the 1-0 decision.

For the second-straight contest, the Belles held a commanding edge in corner kicks.  This time, Saint Mary's had a 7-0 advantage, but were unable to find the back of the net.

Patty Duffy made three saves in goal for the Belles.

The Belles will play their final regular season contest on Wednesday, October 29 when they travel to Albion for a 4:00 p.m. start.
