Belles Take Third at MIT Tournament

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Saint Mary's College volleyball team finished in third at the MIT Invitational with a 2-1 record on the day.

After taking a 3-2 win over Millikin in the opening match of the day, the Belles dropped a 3-1 decision to the host Engineers of MIT.  Saint Mary's regrouped and took a win in straight sets over WNEC to close out the day in a three way tie for first.  Due to the tie-breaker, the Belles finished in third in the four-team tournament.

Danie Brink earned All-Tournament honors for her efforts on the day.
