OLIVET, Mich. -- The Saint Mary's College volleyball team picked up two big MIAA wins as they avenged a loss from earlier in the season against Alma and swept Olivet at Olivet College on Saturday.

After losing to the Scots in four sets just eight days ago, the Belles returned the favor on Saturday by claiming a 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20) win.  Lorna Slupczynski led the Belles with 13 kills while also adding 12 digs.  Kaela Hellmann also had a double-double effort with 11 kills and 22 digs.  Meghann Rose had a match-high 29 digs in the win.

Carrying their momentum from their first win on the day, the Belles disposed of Olivet in straight sets (25-23, 25-19, 25-21).  Slupczynski once again led the offensive effort with 14 more kills.  Rose led the team with 20 digs in the second win of the day.

The Belles will return to Angela Athletic Facility for their final home match of the regular season when they host Calvin College on Tuesday, October 14.  The match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
