SMC vs. St. Scholastica

Saints Defeat Belles in Sunshine State

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Mary's tennis team team suffered a 7-2 loss to St. Scholastica on Wednesday afternoon.

The Saints made an appearance in last year's NCAA Division III Tournament and returned 11 members from a squad that went 18-7 in 2008.

Camille Gebert and Jessica Camp picked up wins for the Belles.  Gebert took her match 6-3, 6-4 while Camp earned a victory by scores of 6-2, 6-1.

The Belles (3-2) will play two dual matches tomorrow, squaring off against Haverford before taking on #22 College of New Jersey in the afternoon.
