The Knights took advantage of their opening possession with a goal in the first minute of play and extended their lead to 3-0 through eight minutes of action.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's softball team claimed a 3-2 win on a suicide squeeze bunt in the bottom of the seventh inning of game one against Adrian on Saturday before falling 5-1 in game two.

The Bulldogs claimed the lead in the top of the first inning of the opening game with a pair of singles and an infield ground out.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Aubrey Golembieski scored 1:57 into the second overtime period to lift the Saint Mary's lacrosse team to a 9-8 win over Trine for their first MIAA victory of program history on Friday afternoon.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Saint Mary's softball team won the opening game 9-4 before ending on the wrong side of a 5-4 game two final in an MIAA doubleheader at Kalamazoo on Thursday evening.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's tennis team lost an 8-1 match to No. 10 regionally-ranked Hope in conference action on Thursday afternoon.

The Flying Dutch won all three doubles flights and the first five singles matches completed. Shannon Elliott and Audrey Kiefer came up short in an 8-3 final at two doubles. Margaret Faller and Andrea Fetters were on the wrong side of an 8-2 final at three doubles, and Mary Catherine Faller and Kayle Sexton fell 8-1 at one doubles.

OLIVET, Mich. - The host Comets closed out the first half with four goals in-a-row, and the Saint Mary's lacrosse team was unable to come back from the deficit as the Belles lost a 12-9 conference contest at Olivet on Wednesday night.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's softball team came back after a tough 8-6 defeat in the opener to take a 5-4 win in game two of a conference doubleheader against Calvin.

In the opener, the Knights posted a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, but the Belles took little time to erase the Calvin lead. Saint Mary's plated a run in the bottom of the first, three in the second, one in the third, and one in the fourth.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Saint Mary's golf team posted a spring season-low 329 to take second place at the first MIAA NCAA Qualifying round on Wednesday.

Fall conference champion Olivet narrowly beat out the Belles for first place with a 325 at Blackthorn Golf Club. Trine was third with a 359, and Calvin finished fourth with a 374.

Olivet's Adrienne Plourde shot a one-over par 73 to claim individual medalist honors.
