Julie Schroeder-Biek has been in her current position as Director of Athletics at Saint Mary’s College since September 2008. From September of that year to late November, she served as the acting director and accepted the position in December 2008.

Prior to that time, Schroeder-Biek was the College’s head volleyball coach for fifteen seasons spanning from 1991-1996 and 2000-2008. She is the program’s leading coach in terms of victories with 185. Of those 15 seasons, Schroeder-Biek’s squads won at least 10 matches in 10 years, including five of the final six seasons she was at the helm of the program.

As a student-athlete at Saint Mary’s, Schroeder-Biek played volleyball during the 1986 season and holds the school record for block assists in a season with 137.
