The Department of Chemistry and Physics occupies two floors of the new Science Hall. Renovated and expanded in 2016, the building contains modern facilities for teaching and research. Teaching spaces include two physics labs, three chemistry labs, and the brand new Advanced Chemistry Laboratory. This collaborative space was designed for our integrative and research-based advanced lab sequence. We also have six research labs, for student-faculty research collaborations. The Science Hall also has a large Instrument Center, which houses almost a half million dollars of scientific instrumentation, all for student use.
